The module covers essential topics such as product data modeling, data import/export, advanced data relationships, and search functionalities. Additionally, users will learn to customize views, filters, and dashboards for a tailored experience, manage permissions, and configure actions and triggers to enhance automation.
This module is designed to build a solid foundation in Perfion, preparing participants for advanced features and certifications.
The Actions module at Perfion Academy equips participants with the skills to create, manage, and execute Actions within the Perfion PIM system. This training covers the foundational principles of Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL), enabling you to automate data import/export, streamline product information management, and integrate various data sources seamlessly.
You’ll learn to set up Actions for diverse use cases, including data manipulation, email notifications, housekeeping tasks, and workflow automation. The module also covers advanced topics such as using variables, scripting, and modularizing Actions for complex scenarios. With this training, you’ll be able to enhance your Perfion implementation, ensuring efficient and accurate data processes.
The Advanced Core module at Perfion Academy is designed for consultants with existing Perfion knowledge and technical expertise. This in-depth training dives into advanced functionalities of the Perfion PIM system, focusing on complex integrations, enhanced permission management, and automation through item triggers and APIs.
Participants will explore topics such as advanced permission management, where you’ll learn to implement role-based and feature-specific permissions to secure your Perfion environment. The module also covers remote features, ODATA, and advanced API usage, enabling seamless data exchange and integration with external systems.
Additionally, the training includes hands-on exercises in setting up item triggers, which allow for automated responses to changes within the system, and configuring workflow controls like progress bars and traffic lights to enhance data management efficiency. This module is essential for those looking to maximize the capabilities of Perfion in more technically demanding environments.
The Print Publishing module at Perfion Academy focuses on mastering the Perfion Report Designer, a powerful tool for creating a wide range of printed materials directly from your PIM system. This training module introduces participants to the fundamentals of report creation, including technical product sheets, price lists, and data-driven catalogs.
Participants will learn to navigate the Report Designer’s interface, configure report templates, and manage the flow of product data to produce structured and professional output. The training also covers advanced features such as using the dynamic Table Designer and creating publications.
